The weekend
has flown past and Monday is poking its nasty head around the corner! I have the Sunday night blues and there only
one way to cure it! Sugar!
It’s been a
month since my last marshmallow adventure hence, time for another one.
I don't like reinventing the wheel so this recipe
is pretty much the same as the previous recipe that I used.
Instead of
a vanilla-chocolate combination, I used raspberry and chocolate.
The only extra
addition was mixing in ¼ cup (approximately 60ml) of raspberry puree to the
vanilla marshmallow mixture after Step 7 in this recipe.
And there
you have it, swirls of sweet delight!
What am i looking at!! Thats amazing!!! I wish you could ciber send me some!!!
ReplyDeleteI only tried 1 flavour marshmallows and always the same recipe, this one sounds soooo interesting!!!!!! yummy!
It's very very very VERY sweet! :-)
DeleteThis looks deliciously sinful! Very pretty especially with the colour of the raspberries. Tempting! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIt is completely sinful! All that sugar!
DeleteSo you have Sunday night blues too? Me too hah..hah...but I used to cure it with potato chips and got myself into a lot of trouble. I used to think that marshmallow was a fruit, imagine that. I have not baked using marshmallow before but one day when I get adventurous, I will!
ReplyDeleteThey're really easy to make and really help the Sunday night blues :-)
DeleteOh my gosh! This looks super delicious! I bet anyone would love it.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteWhat the what?!! Coolest homemade marshmallow I've ever seen!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Chelsea!
DeleteHi Fiona
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sweet delight! Best for killing Monday blue on Sunday night.
Thanks Amy!
DeleteLove the raspberry here, great idea.
ReplyDeleteWow, you baked marshmallows??? That sounds so cool...lol! I would just get them from the supermarket when I crave for them...hehe, come to think of it, it's been a while since I've had marshmallows and your post just reminded me of them. We always get them in a single flavor over here, and I liked what you have done....especially the sound of raspberry! :-*
ReplyDeleteNow, that's what I call another blessing...to have friends like you around and posts to make me see how wonderful the world is :-)
Have a great day!~ :-D
Thanks Christy for such a cheery message! :-) I looove marshmallows especially the home-made ones :-)
DeleteThese look incredible Fiona! Love how pretty the swirls are and perfect for helping with the Sunday night or any time blues :)

DeleteThis reminds me of a Tori Amos song - Raspberry Swirl! Yours look absolutely delectable... Imagine enjoying these marshmallows with that song as a soundtrack. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks Kenny!
DeleteThese marshmallows look amazing! I love the combination of chocolate and raspberry so these marshmallows are right up my alley. I bet they'd taste amazing in some hot chocolate or in a s'mores!
